Unbridled joy
In the sheer bustle of working life or even for those caught in the rut of boredom, looking at these pictures sure brings joy to us as we have been spared the agony of parting from loved ones be it a wife or your children.

Panda Ride
The adoration of pets is another. Love and loyalty is always on the animal's side though humans do try to reciprocate.

Parting with Loved Ones
We also should celebrate the age difference between the very young and the very old. Such experience from the older generation is needed to guide the younger ones.

Returning to Loved One
Wildlife is another area that gives us joy as well as increase our passion to to protect them against the ravages of intensive unbridled development of man!

Trouble Afoot in Kuantan

An Australian Reject?
Now, Lynas says it will not export the waste from the processing of rare earth.

Will this be the beginning of the end of massive support for Barisan?

I think Lynas is one big mammoth the government cannot hide under a table-cloth.

Still Robbing Peter to Pay Paul

Ringgit Rustler?

In the productivity realm, every one must pull their weight to bring forth progress  to better their livelihood.

A government cannot continue to increase civil service salaries if  its productivity does not commensurate with output and quality.

Doing so will rob Peter to pay Paul.

Who is Peter and who is Paul?

Paul are taxpayers; you and me- paying taxes both direct and indirect.

Peter is the public service.

Do you believe that the civil service has improved by leaps and bounds to deserve another pay revision?

No?

Cry, the beloved country.

Troy-Larger than History

The fight of the Unequals
It may be a page out of  Homer's Iliad but the 2004 rendition of Troy is certainly larger than history.

Anyone watching the movie will think that it is all about the life and times of Achilles.

Watching this movie in retro, provides one with a perspective that man is altogether  sinful both in love and war.

As always, winner takes all.

So, we see a larger than life Brad Pitt as Achilles against Eric Bana's Hector. Nothing stops Achilles except that arrow from Paris.

Great movie, great music and great theme song.

The other stars included Diane Kruger as Helen and Rose Byrne as Breidis.

Great trip down memory lane for me!

Gas Malaysia- Gassed Out by Odd Lot Offeror

All fired up!

This is the third time that I have been trapped on the odd lot market.

The offeror offering Gas Malaysia shares at RM 3.10 decided to do a limbo rock and gave one miserable share at RM 2.21 to me. And like on two occasions before, I was trapped and hooked by the nose.

If I do not  buy any more that would mean that solo share will cost me an overarching brokerage and other  overheads of RM 30.00. So with the share priced at RM 2.21, I would have to foot that dog share at RM 3.12 which makes it more expensive than KLK, Aeon or Aeon Credit.Buying that one share will cost me RM 32.31!

So, as usual, I have to save myself. To ensure than the brokerage is even out, I bought 5 shares at the seller price of RM 3.10 . That will mean that I will have to pay RM 15.50 and per shares will decrease to  RM 2.97 per shares. With that I can now even the brokerage by 6 shares to RM 5.00  per shares only.

Total damage is RM 47.80

Well, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

But here on the odd lot market, the odds seems to be against me!
