2012-Milestones and What's Left of It

Ticking Minutes as we welcome 2013
Another a little more than 24 hours and a new year dawns.

So, what have we got to show for the going year?

Fortune-some here, some there and God has been kind.

Sickness- had my share of it;from sleep apnea, a long bout with flu to low white cell blood count.

Family issues-misfortune as my father and mother fell during the same week or so.

While my father is now restricted to a wheel-chair and need care-provision for his waking hours;my mother is being brought to the hospital for imaging and other diagnostics according to a schedule of appointments.

Then we have Jo Yee, my grand-niece who had to go for an open heart sternum operation to correct a co-genital heart defect.

Marriage-my nephew William got married to Jo Ann his long-time school-day sweetheart.

Robert, my other nephew got a son  as well as an overseas posting to the Netherlands.

My son entered college to take the challenge of ACCA.

For me, tutoring seems to be ebbing. Thought I will stop this year but looks like I am soldiering well in English teaching well into 2013.

And I also did not get through my Commissioner of Oath appointment. Sad but true. So, I am appealing once more- not that it matters that much.

One thing I know for sure is that God is looking out for me and my family.

As one door closes on me, He opens so many new doors!

My cup runneth over!

The end of the year did not come.

Praise the Lord!

Politics-wise, the general elections has yet to be called.

I am also fortunate that I still have got all my friends with me and all in good health.

As we await the new year, the best to all my readers.
