Omigosh! Did I marry the Right Person?

This is one posting that is a wonderful message for all those already married as well as those who intends to.

Did you marry the right person?

Singles may want to take a leaf of experience from this and those who are amrried may use it as guidelines to improve on their relationship with their spouses.

This happened at a seminar,

A woman asked a common question. She said, "How do I know if I married the right person?" The speaker motioned to a large man sitting next to her,"It depends. Is that your husband?" In all seriousness, she answered "How do you know?"

Here's the answer;plain and simple.

Every relationship has a cycle. In the beginning, you fell in love with your spouse. You anticipated their call, wanted their touch, and liked their idiosyncrasies. Falling in love with your spouse wasn't hard. In fact, it was a completely natural and spontaneous experience. You didn't have to DO anything. That's why it's called "falling" in love... Because it's happening TO YOU.

People in love sometimes say, "I was swept off my feet." Think about the imagery of that expression. It implies that you were just standing there; doing nothing, and then something came along and happened TO YOU.

Falling in love is easy. It's a passive and spontaneous experience.

But after a few years of marriage, the euphoria of love fades. It's the natural cycle of EVERY relationship. Slowly but surely, phone calls become a bother (if they come at all), touch is not always welcome (when it happens), and your spouse's idiosyncrasies, instead of being cute, will drive you nuts.

The symptoms of this stage vary with every relationship, but if you are to think about the marriage, you will notice a dramatic difference between the initial stage when you were in love and a much duller or even angry subsequent stage.

At this point, you and/or your spouse might start asking, "Did I marry the right person?" And as you and your spouse reflect on the euphoria of the love you once had, you may begin to desire that experience with someone else. This is when marriages breakdown. People blame their spouse for their unhappiness and look outside their marriage for fulfillment.

Extramarital fulfillment comes in all shapes and sizes. Infidelity is the most obvious. But sometimes people turn to work,a hobby, a friendship, excessive TV, or abusive substances.

But the answer to this dilemma does not lie outside your marriage. It lies within it. I'm not saying that you couldn't fall in love with someone else. You could.

And temporarily you'd feel better. But you'd be in the same situation a few years later because THE KEY TO SUCCEEDING IN MARRIAGE IS NOT FINDING THE RIGHT PERSON; IT'S LEARNING TO LOVE THE PERSON YOU FOUND.

SUSTAINING love is not a passive or spontaneous experience. It'll NEVER just happen to you.You can't "find" LASTING love. You have to "make" it day in and day out. That's why we have the expression "the labor of love."

Because it takes time, effort, and energy. And most importantly, it takes WISDOM. You have to know WHAT TO DO to make your marriage work. Make no mistake about it. Love is NOT a mystery. There are specific things you can do (with or without your spouse) to succeed with your marriage.

Just as there are physical laws of the universe (such as gravity), there are also laws for relationships. Just as the right diet and exercise program makes you physically stronger, certain habits in your relationship WILL make your marriage stronger. It's a direct cause and effect analogy. If you know and apply the laws, the results are predictable. .. you can "make" love. Love in marriage is indeed a "decision"... Not just a feeling.

Remember this always:

"God determines who walks into your life. It is up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go."

So, spent your lifetime finding out the loveable things about your spouse so that you could LOVE your spouse everyday in every way in an EVERLASTING marriage. That is why grandpa's love to your grandma seems so PURE.Remember, you are with the "RIGHT" person. If not, you wouldn't have wanted to marry your spouse in the first place.

So, do you subscribe to this argument or is this theory bunkum and ought to go out of the window?

Make your own judgment call!

3) Willow is a closely held company. Its shareholders have strong experience in this industry and that bodes well for Willow to get new contract through networking.

4) Besides acquisition and special dividend, Willow is ripe for bonus issue while listing itself in Main Board. Comparing Willow with other MESDAQ companies,Willow is more than prepared to join the big boys in Main Board. If this happens,Willow 's share price can easily jump 50%.

Willowglen is a darling stock for those who likes MESDAQ companies. If you can't make money through Willowglen,I will rather shut down this blog.

Why I was Fired?

For the last company picnic, management decided that, due to liability issues, we could have alcohol, but limited to only one (1) drink per person.

I was fired for ordering the cups.

Look at Smaller Capitalised Value Stocks

SenseCents, the blogger believes investors should go for smaller-capitalised and value stocks as the Malaysian stock market, deemed expensive currently, is expected to trade range-bound over the next few months as most analysts concurred.

The market, which is trading at around 15 times 2010 earnings, is seen as one of the most, if not the most, expensive in the region.

"We believe the (FTSE Bursa Malaysia) KLCI becomes more vulnerable to a correction in the near term with support at 1,100 points, which is also our end-2009 target," HwangDBS Vickers Research head of research Wong Ming Tek said.

But a longer-term recovery is intact, with the index year-end target for next year seen at 1,240 points, he added.

For the index to move up from here on, there needs to be stronger earnings upgrades and these could come from stronger-than-expected capital market activities for banks, faster progress billings on property sales, and faster margin recovery and bigger-sized contract wins for builders, Wong said.

He was positive on the outlook for banks, construction and property.

In the latter category, his top picks were Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd, EON Capital Bhd, TRC Synergy Bhd and Alam Maritim Resources Bhd.

OSK Research, meanwhile, has raised its fair value of the index for the year to 1,144 points from 1,040, saying that corporate earnings will rebound as the economy improves.

It also upgraded its call on the Malaysian market to "neutral" from "sell into strength".

"While we continue to see the market as expensive, we note the continued liquidity and that investors are looking forward towards 2010 earnings," head of research Chris Eng said in a market strategy report for the month.

OSK Research's fair value of the index for next year is 1,265 points.

It continues to recommend trading in smaller-cap stocks in the oil and gas, rubber, steel and construction sectors.

Its top buys are Axiata Group Bhd, MMC Corp Bhd, Top Glove Corp Bhd, Mudajaya Group Bhd and Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd. It took Genting Bhd and WCT Bhd out of that list in line with its smaller-cap focus.

RHB Research head of research Lim Chee Sing believes that investors should "switch out of expensive stocks and into value stocks" that are cheap and have robust fundamentals.

These include Tenaga Nasional Bhd, AMMB Holdings Bhd, Bumiputra-Commerce Holdings Bhd, Media Prima Bhd, Perwaja Holdings Bhd and Kossan Rubber Industries Bhd.

Lim also raised his year-end target for the index to 1,210 points from 1,150 previously.

So tread and trade carefully, won't you?

Never Knew! Another Orang Melaka...

After doing a post on Nicolekiss which I took from Jojo Struys' blog of the current Bloggers Competition,I have now discovered to my wildest consternation that Nicolekiss hails from good old Melaka. Fancy that! 'Apa khabar, orang Melaka? Mai, kita berdondang sayang? Boleh?' Is she a Nyonya?

In a way, I am proud to have this Malacca lass moving up in the world.I like her youthfulness. I like her face. Chun! Charming, debonair....Where is my Thesaurus!

I have not yet seen all her blog entries but I know she does not work as normal people do but get paid viz the internet.

Nicole is a case of good looks, gray matter, fine dressing and she knows when to use the camera. She sings great too! Looking at some of her pictures at the way they are shot, doesn't she have the Megan Fox grin? Here are some of the pictures I took from her blog. I hope she wouldn't mind............

Eva Mendes-Screen Siren

Eva Mendes is sultry! That distinguishable mole on her cheek makes her into one sexy kitten. Cutting her Hollywood teeth on such movies as '2 Fast 2 Furious, Hitch, 'Training Day', 'We Own the Night' and 'The Spirit', Eva continues to command screen presence in the movies she acted in.

Of Cuban parentage, Eva Mendes was raised a Roman Catholic and originally aspired to be a nun.Thank God she didn't.

Spotted by an agent, she was convinced that she should pursue acting more steadily. Thus, she worked her way up through commercials to music videos. Her first film was 'Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror'.Eva Mendes received her first big-screen break when she appeared beside Denzel Washington in 'Training Day'. Eva also costarred in 'Ghost Rider' with Nicolas Cage, and recently starred alongside Joaquin Phoenix, Mark Wahlberg, and Robert Duvall in the film 'We Own the Night', and Samuel L. Jackson and Scarlett Johansson in 'The Spirit'.

Eva Mendes has also been in commercials for Gushers, Revlon, and Levi's. Maxim ranked Mendes #7 in its 2007 Hot 100 issue. She also made her second Maxim cover in the November 2007 issue.

Mendes, despite resisting offers from Playboy, appeared naked in Flaunt Magazine. Although her breasts weren't exposed, readers did get to see her bare back and buttocks. She also appeared nude in an ad for Calvin Klein's Secret Obsession perfume.

Mendes was voted as No. 4 in the 2008 and No. 1 in the 2009 edition of AskMen.com's Top 99 Most Desirable Women.

Mendes posed topless with her breasts exposed for "Vogue Italy" in May 2008. Look at the two photographs at the bottom. Don't she look a bit like a young Sophia Loren?

CSI Cleaner

This movie is quite engaging.

With Samuel L. Jackson in the lead, this movie could sustain audience interest. Ed Harris and Eva Mendes provides the supporting substance which otherwise would have rendered it into a B-Grade TV show.

Single father and former cop Tom Cutler has an unusual occupation: he's a one man crime scene cleanup company. But when he's called in to sterilize a wealthy suburban residence after a brutal shooting, Cutler is shocked to learn he may have unknowingly erased crucial evidence, entangling himself in a dirty criminal cover-up.

It was exciting until the last 10 minutes when clues were given and the whole plot fell into place.

These Things Do Happen!

Think you are having a bad day?

Fire authorities in California found a corpse in a burned-out section of forest while assessing the damage done by a forest fire. The deceased male was dressed in a full wet suit, complete with scuba tanks on his back, flippers, and face mask.

A postmortem test revealed that the man died not from burns, but from massive internal injuries. Dental records provided a positive identification. Investigators then set about to determine how a fully clothed diver ended up in the middle of a forest fire.

It was revealed that on the day of the fire, the man went diving off the coast, some 20 miles from the forest. The fire fighters, seeking to control the fire as quickly as possible, had called in a fleet of helicopters with very large dip buckets. Water was dipped from the ocean and emptied at the site of the forest fire.

You guessed it.

One minute our diver was making like Flipper in the Pacific, the next, he was doing the breast stroke in a fire dip bucket 300 feet in the air.
Some days it just doesn't pay to get out of bed.. But keep reading......

Still think you're having a bad day?

A man was working on his motorcycle on the patio, his wife nearby in the kitchen. While racing the engine, the motorcycle accidentally slipped into gear. The man, still holding onto the handlebars, was dragged along as it burst through the glass patio doors.

His wife, hearing the crash, ran in the room to find her husband cut and bleeding, the motorcycle, and the shattered patio door. She called for an ambulance and, because the house sat on a fairly large hill, went down the several flights of stairs to meet the paramedics and escort them to her husband.
While the attendants were loading her husband, the wife managed to right the motorcycle and push it outside. She also quickly blotted up the spilled gasoline with some paper towels and tossed them into the toilet.
After being treated and released, the man returned home, looked at the shattered patio door and the damage done to his motorcycle. He went into the bathroom and consoled himself with a cigarette while attending to his business.

About to stand, he flipped the butt between his legs.
The wife, who was in the kitchen, heard a loud explosion and her husband screaming. Finding him lying on the bathroom floor with his trousers blown away and burns on his buttocks, legs and groin, she once again phoned for an ambulance. The same paramedic crew was dispatched.

As the paramedics carried the man down the stairs to the ambulance they asked the wife how he had come to burn himself. She told them. They started laughing so hard, one slipped, the stretcher dumping the husband out. He fell down the remaining stairs, breaking his arm.

Still having a bad day? Just remember, it could be worse...

The average cost of rehabilitating a seal after the Exxon Valdes oil spill in Alaska was $80,000. At a special ceremony, two of the most expensively saved animals were being released back into the wild amid cheers and applause from onlookers.
A minute later, in full view, a killer whale ate them both.

Still think you are having a bad day?

A woman came home to find her husband in the kitchen shaking frantically, almost in a dancing frenzy, with some kind of wire running from his waist towards the electric kettle. Intending to jolt him away from the deadly current, she whacked him with a handy plank of wood, breaking his arm in two places.
Up to that moment, he had been happily listening to his Walkman.

STILL think you're having a bad day?

Two animal rights protesters were protesting at the cruelty of sending pigs to a slaughterhouse in Bonn, Germany. Suddenly, all two thousand pigs broke loose and escaped through a broken fence, stampeding madly. The two hopeless protesters were trampled to death.

What?? STILL having a bad day??

Iraqi terrorist Khay Rahnajet didn't pay enough postage on a letter bomb. It came back with 'return to sender' stamped on it. Forgetting it was the bomb, he opened it and was blown to bits.

There now, feeling better?
