The Wholesome Angel

If there is anyone of 'Charlie's Angels' that can be considered really wholesome, then it must be Cheryl Ladd. This star has the appeal of whatever is meant by the word, 'nice and beautiful'.

If I want to hazard a description of the other Angels, then Farrah would be the most sexy followed by Tanya Roberts and Shelley Hack. Jaclyn Smith was good to look at while Kate is just the girl next door.

I was looking through the WWW and only these Cheryl photos fit my description of 'nice'.

Bye-Bye Dame Elizabeth!

Elizabeth Taylor passed on today (24 March 2011) at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

A consummate actress, Taylor acted in her first film at the age of 10, three years after her American parents had returned to the United States from London, where she was born in Hampstead in 1932.

After just one film, she was hired by MGM, and became a child star with National Velvet, starring opposite Mickey Rooney.

One of the longest-surviving stars of the old studio system, she was widely acclaimed for her roles Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Raintree Country and Cleopatra - as well as Butterfield 8, for which she won her first Oscar in 1960.

Eva Mendes-Screen Siren

Eva Mendes is sultry! That distinguishable mole on her cheek makes her into one sexy kitten. Cutting her Hollywood teeth on such movies as '2 Fast 2 Furious, Hitch, 'Training Day', 'We Own the Night' and 'The Spirit', Eva continues to command screen presence in the movies she acted in.

Of Cuban parentage, Eva Mendes was raised a Roman Catholic and originally aspired to be a nun.Thank God she didn't.

Spotted by an agent, she was convinced that she should pursue acting more steadily. Thus, she worked her way up through commercials to music videos. Her first film was 'Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror'.Eva Mendes received her first big-screen break when she appeared beside Denzel Washington in 'Training Day'. Eva also costarred in 'Ghost Rider' with Nicolas Cage, and recently starred alongside Joaquin Phoenix, Mark Wahlberg, and Robert Duvall in the film 'We Own the Night', and Samuel L. Jackson and Scarlett Johansson in 'The Spirit'.

Eva Mendes has also been in commercials for Gushers, Revlon, and Levi's. Maxim ranked Mendes #7 in its 2007 Hot 100 issue. She also made her second Maxim cover in the November 2007 issue.


Mendes, despite resisting offers from Playboy, appeared naked in Flaunt Magazine. Although her breasts weren't exposed, readers did get to see her bare back and buttocks. She also appeared nude in an ad for Calvin Klein's Secret Obsession perfume.



Mendes was voted as No. 4 in the 2008 and No. 1 in the 2009 edition of AskMen.com's Top 99 Most Desirable Women.

Mendes posed topless with her breasts exposed for "Vogue Italy" in May 2008. Look at the two photographs at the bottom. Don't she look a bit like a young Sophia Loren?
