Great Old Days

I met Azizah Abdullah at the airport departure lounge a couple of years ago.

Amongst our friends at the Youth and Sports Ministry,she immediately told me about Norizan.

She married and is now domicile in Korea.

That is an interesting development, I said to myself.

Norizan in Seoul or any other parts?

Maybe she is in Gangnam-doing the Opah Gangnam style.

Whatever it is, I do hope she can reach out to me via the internet through any of the social networks such as LinkedIn,Facebook or Twitter.

I hope I am not waiting for Godot.

She is not exactly an archetypal Miss Universe beauty. Though she had her times as an up-and-coming starlet,Piper Perabo has moved on.

And so, it was welcome sight to see the cheeky side of Piper on Covert Affairs. A cool, smooth CIA-based series,it shows the lighter side of the Agency with Annie-the Piper persona being given choice assignments.

Dialogue is witty and Piper continues to show spunk.

Lovable Piper Perabo-you will root for her.

Engaging series with a touch of Mike Longstreet.

These days, we have very slim pickings on the Bursa KL.

Except for the impending re-listing of Malakoff, expect a dead-dull market.

Returns to Investors?

There is no longer any attractive counters out there except for the orang putih counters such as GAB, Carlsberg, Digi.com, Lysaght Malaysian Cement, Nestle and F&N.

Many counters were taken private such as UAC, BRDB,TWS,EIG,KrisAssets  and many more.

New Ball Game in Dialysis

The only counters worth watching currently are Astro Malaysia Holdings,Pos Malaysia and possibly Adventa which has evolved into a dialysis distributor after hiving off its rubber glove activity.

Some IBs are hawking Astro with a TP of RM3.40, while Pos may experience some  upticks too if foreign interest continue to collect it. As for Adventa, we just do not know what is happening there but at 0.42 sen, it may be a good buy.
