The Commissioner for Oaths Interview

Proof of Oath
Yes, I faced my moment of truth.

Today I went to Putrajaya for my interview.

On hind-sight-I did not fare well. There were bloopers galore.

Some fumbles that should have been avoided.

1. Name of the Chief Registrar-Nada! Don't know!
2. Father of Development? No, not Dr. Mahathir. Tun Abdul Razak-another fumble.
3. Fees for affidavits, exhibits and copies. Fumble- Gave wrong answer-lah
4. What are the krises in the coats of arms- Institutions-fumble-represent Unfederated Malays States
5. Court structure-did not mention Sessions court. I guess I will get by here.

So, how do I feel about the interview? Dicey-Man on the Ledge

Passing the examination has soothed my ego.

If I should fail this interview, I can still appeal.

As time is the essence here and I have now only 4 years to go, it looks like I will possibly not take up this vocation if offered.

Moreover,if it does not pay, it will make me just another shopkeeper.

Not the most rosiest of pictures, don't you agree?

YTL Power Warrants-Take A Chance on Me

Wwould it Power On

So sang ABBA, " Take a Chance on Me".

Would you dare to take a chance on YTL Power warrants 2008/2018?

No, I am not referring to the original subscribers who took the leap in 2008 and bought it a x sen per unit.

I am talking about those offered to YTL Corp shareholders at 20 sen with its WR being traded currently till 10 October 2012.

The ROS for the WR is trading at 18.5 sen now.

Leap of Faith?
As a YTL Corp holder, do you dare take the leap and go for the warrants?

Question 1 is:  How low will the warrants go after the subscription period is over?

If it goes down to 23 sen, then you LOSE big time!

Sharky encounter!
Any price around 35 sen and you get BONANZA!

So, are you anak jantan?

If you are, take a chance on, says Francis Yeoh.

Question 2:  Do you think there are sellers who will sell down the WR into the river. Remember it has been a hard painful journey from 20 sen to almost 50 sen. Now it has slid to 42 sen as the mother shares had declined from R M1.90.

Let us give it a fall of 12 sen to 30 sen and work from there,

At this price, the mother share would be priced at RM 1.51 .

The Power of Believe!
It is now only 10 sen from that price.

If you have faith in YTL counters and especially when YTL may be taken private or will sell its Paka and Pasir Gudang to 1MDB, then the warrants are a great proxy hold for the mother-share!

PS:

As expected YTL Power moved up as high as RM 1.65 today (9 Oct) bringing up both the Warrants (42 sen)and the ROS for YTL Corp shareholders (20.5 sen).

Wasn't it fun playing this many fangled counter?
