Twin Towers Deserted |
The last time I felt the effects of of Stay Home Order was during the infamous May 13 Incident. That was in 1969. We could do nothing then. Though they allowed a few hours for shopping for essentials,
you will be stopped if you break the curfew.

Petaling Street - Empty Stalls |
That was 51 years back. Now I am as old as Methuselah. On 18 March, Malaysia was under a Mandatory Order - almost a semi-lock-down. Only the Head of Household can do the shopping. Now, each car can have only the driver in place. No passengers allowed and shopping must be done within a limit of 10 kilometers from the home. It was further extended to 14 April because the 'flattening of the curve' has not arrived as yet.

Sultan Samad Building - A Solitary Walker Went By |
I don't know whether it will be further extended to 28 April 2020. The Government will announced this on 10th April. Hopefully, we can have this Covid 19 controlled with less and less infection by the day.

A Security Guard Walks Alone on a Zebra Crossing in Front of Pavilion Mall |
The economy is bad. People are getting arrested for restlessness and fined. Some have been charged and sentenced by the Judiciary. No food can be served in the restaurants. Take-outs are allowed before 8 p.m. Hotels are doing badly and so is the entire tourism industry.

Mid Valley - A Waste of Energy as No One is Shopping |
There was a cash hand-out by the government. It was fair but did not cover many.

KLIA - An Airport of Little Air Traffic |
Here are some scenes of a desolate Kuala Lumpur, a shadow of itself.
