Based on a fictitious story,it tells about the attack of Pepperland by the Blue Meanies and a captain with a Yellow Submarine journeying to Liverpool to get the help of the Beatles to save Pepperland.Very artistic graphics for the late 1060s, with the various themes, the sea theme,time theme and strange animal theme and what not. Good songs peppered the movie. Memorable songs include Lucy inthe Sky with Diamond, Nowhere Man, When I am 64, What You need is Love and Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Heat Club Song.
The Beatles appeared live at the end of the movie. They did not lend their voices to this Canadian effort.Good movie and plenty of nostalgia unleashed.
