Can These Become Winning Votes?

The Daughter Power
The turn-out at most Pakatan ceramahs are humongous.

These photos tell you that if all those in the audience are voters, there could be a swing towards Pakatan.

Potential Dragon Slayer in Nusajaya
But it is not so since many could be curious listeners or are non voters from other voting areas.

Be that as it may, it certainly pose a challenge optically to BN.

As the day is not done and there is still at least 6 campaigning days to go, things may be more telling.

Ex MB Selangor in PAS Campaign
We wait in anticipation of what the battle royale will be like in most of these hot spots and whether the mother of all elections will be maintained by BN or wrestled away by the potential PR candidates with their juggernaut audience.

New Prince in Town?

The Friday prayers today (26 April 2013) was absolutely revealing.

Tok Guru and Husam praying in Putrajaya
It reverberated unashamedly with human emotions  let loose.

Did it unmasked the sombre sobriety of the civil servants of Putrajaya and show their true colour at last when Tok Guru comes to the Putrajaya main mosque for Friday solat?

Or is there a new prince in town that they will crown very soon?

A Sea of Support Never Seen Before
Will such support and runaway feelings turn into victory for Husam against Tengku Nan at the moment of truth on 5 May?

The world is watching Putrajaya.

A Prince Comes to Town
Will it return every thing in balance to BN or will the moon rise in Putrajaya?

A Matter of Perception?

Are these mirages or does it reflect the signs of the times?

An ocean of eager humanity
Two different perspective.

Inglorious food?
What do we have in store  when the polling stations closed and the counting begins?

The 60,000 Strong Diners at Westport

One Malaysia in Westport on 20 April 2013
At 5.30 pm on 20 April 2013 we set on our journey by chartered bus  to Westport, Pulau Indah  in Port Klang.

Took us 90 minutes to get in as the jam was humongous!

There were many Malay youths on motorbikes waving BN flags and they were guiding us into the Westport complex.

We saw Najib for PM posters all along the way into Westport.

He looked dapper and debonair!

After a messy search for our table B1937 under the Blue Balloon which we never did find, our PJ group plumped ourselves onto a few empty tables. Talk about MCA organisation!

Food started close to 8 pm. For such a large crowd many restaurants were involved in preparing the food.

Food was great especially the herbal chicken and the nestum fried prawns.

There were song and dance galore during the dinner but no one really cared.

Then it was the turn for Michelle Yeoh to speak. She looks pretty and I guess she spoke what should be spoke fittingly in such a gathering.

Najib was the penultimate speaker but there was little response from the crowd to his speech nor his exultation of Satu Malaysia. They were  too far away to hear as the field was pretty large, stretching from one end to another.

To many, it was a mammoth event with imported singers from Taiwan.

Most enjoyed the food, I can see.

Well, every function has to end.

For this event, I wonder what was its intended purpose.

If it had wanted a gung-ho, performance in front of PM, the MCA and its organisers  should have marshaled at least the MCA youth divisions from all districts in Selangor. Dressed them like Chinese soldiers of old!

That would really put the punch into this function.

But, alas all you brought to this gathering were senior gentlemen, ladies and kids too!

For their next gathering they should learn from these tips and cues.

Bring on the voting youths!

Who are The Others? Really?

Horror Personified!
This is my second time watching the movie.

The interesting thing about " The Others" is that it is a movie that we do not know who the real dead are.

Are Grace's family  the ones that are dead or the family of the boy who apparently inhabits the house together? One thing for sure, the servants are indeed dead.

This movie is very well edited and paced to bring out the essence of the suspense.

One of those movies where Nicole Kidman gave her best acting.

A wonderful movie if you are ready for a renewed dosage of shocks!

Sharon Stone-Does She Need Korean Help?

Oozing Sensuality
Sharon Stone is world famous.

Rapturous Kinkiness
Beginning as that sexy and irresistible nubile creature in King's Solomon Mines, she broke the ceiling with that irrepressible kinky movie called Basic Instinct and we have had her in the spotlight since the 1980s.

Abandon joy
But Father Time has not been kind to Sharon.

Mesmerising
Soon, she faded from the lime-light with age and has lost almost whatever is sexy and beautiful about her in the days of old.

Rare gem of a beauty
Here, look at some of her more vibrant pictures and what she was like a few days back.

Most Memorable Scene
It is sad that this has happened to Sharon.

Almost a pink movie
Does she need the Korean cosmetic experts to put her back to her former glory?
