Sydney Gangnam Style

Korean hip-hop
Looks like PSY has won the psychological  war.

Even the kangaroo people are taken in.

Here watch Mr. Gangnam in action over the weekend at Sydney.

Gangnam style sure beats Crocodile Dundee!

Boulevard 26 Putrajaya-What do you think?

Standing Out Like a Sore thumb?
The former PM has spoken his mind on this building.

It  has no place in Putrajaya.

It does not have the characteristic Putrajaya features.

It does not blend.

It lacks majesty.

What do you think?

Futuristic,man!
For me-It looks okay and it sure is futuristic.

My humble opinion, that is.

But hey, who am I?

Trapped Again on the Odd-Lot Market!

Is it a More Means Less?
I remembered clearly when I was trapped for that very first time.

 It was Dijaya!

The seller gave me one share.

I was stunned!

Would you believe it has happened again?

And so soon!

Lightning does strike you twice on the Bursa KL.

Let me recall the event.

This morning I was feeling a little bit gatal since I have some spare cash in my trust account.

Especially after selling the YTL WR recently.

So, I went into this counter which was touted grandly by the Government of Malaysia.

It's  IHH Healthcare Berhad, the second largest healthcare conglomerate in the world after HCA Holdings of the US.

Today, there is little spring in its steps, so it seems and it was languishing.

Let's backtrack.

It's IPO price was RM 2.80 and it opened up at at 8% to just above RM 3.00.

The highest it did was to touch RM 3.25

So, I thought it is a good buy below RM 3.20 this morning.

I placed my units for purchase at RM 3.12

Guess what?

That nasty chap sold me one unit and now there ain't anymore buyers.

Apa macam,tuan?

This meant that one unit of IHH has cost me RM 32.13 with a hefty overhead of RM 29.01!

Imagine it has cost me 10 X its board value  !! Gila-kah?

I gotta get in this afternoon to average down this monstrosity of a brokerage and overhead charges.

Tak boleh Tahan!

Bought in 100 units at RM 3.20 just to ease off the tension and to bring down that murderous overhead.

So, I am now stuck with 101!

A Head above-Diana Danielle

Captivating!

There are rare gems among Malaysians particularly pretty lasses.

Though we have our share of glamorous beauty queens from Lina Teoh, Michelle Yeoh to Nadia Heng, we also have our supermodels from Amber Chia to actress like Carmen Soo and Nur Fazura.

Adorable

Diana is another super face representing beauties in Malaysia.

Heard she just got betrothed to an actor.

Lucky chap!

Charmed Offensive!

Let's look at some photos of this charming lass and admire!

Pretty woman

Animated

Admire!

Joyful

Wah! So fierce one meh! This one!

Watching You!
This is my first experience going to North Tower at the Garden Complex adjacent Mid-valley Mall.

Went to send my YTL-Power warrants subscription-lah!

If you want to go up to Tricor Shares Registrars, they take your Mycard particulars and then take a photograph of you.

Wah! This one-terror one!

What do you think?

Overdoing it?

Inflation Bites and Hurts Too!

Lesser and more expensive!
There was a time when life was so much easier.

We didn't have to work so hard.

The signs of the time.

The Penang Chee Cheong Fun at the Restaurant OS only opens in the morning.

By 3 p.m, he sow thong!

Today, he sells in the evening too!

RM 1.50 Chendol!
Hassan Rojak does the same thing.

He does not sells in the afternoon.

For the poor, this is lunch
Now he does.

I guess he has kids growing up at home and its more difficult to foot the household bills!

Baby Formula prices have gone to the moon!

Student Budget
As for the nasi lemak hawker selling near Maybank SEAPARK, he does roaring business these days.

Almost all his clientele are students.

You know it is not bad, having a chicken and an egg for RM 4.50.

Times have really been bad.

Inflation has eaten up salaries like termites.

Where can we go and hide from this inflation monster?

Tolong! Help!

The Fall and Fall of Felda Global Ventures

Falling FGV
I did.

Believe me I did as a Malaysian patriot!

I applied for FGV's IPO.

It was 6.75 times over-subscribed.

As, I usual I failed.

Now this politically-driven share has gone down from its high above RM 5.00.

It is sliding and coming closer to its issue price of RM 4.45.

At the current going price of RM 4.75, those who bought the share at the IPO will stand to gain 30 sen or RM 300 gross.

After deducting RM 31.00 for brokerage etal, you will stand to gain a net profit of  RM 269.00

If it fell to RM 4.44, it is hell water and you must get out without a loss of a whisker!

Now that the elections is not yet called, it may be pushed up for scenario building.

You may want to get out when they do a number on the counter.
