A Cloudy GPS Day

We were on the way to the EIG AGM.

It rained and the day was pretty cloudy.

As we got out from the NKVE, we headed towards Bukit Jelutong.

And then the GPS went cuckoo.

It routed us to all places but the destination.

Soon we were misled out back onto the highway to pay toll once more but this time heading towards Setia Alam and Ecopark.

Going back would be disastrous what with the piling traffic jam. So, we hightailed for home after making a detour.

A GPS is just not good when it is cloudy.

Maybe it may rain meatball if we are luckier.

BJFoods-Buyers have gone Bonkers

Just when you think that it is time to leave BJFood, when screaming buyers descended like buzzards to pick up what every seller had to sell. It was a feeding frenzy until the afternoon session.

Then when the amok buying quelled, prices on BJF and its warrants came down to more decent levels.

On a huge volume of 980,600, BJF tacked on 11 sen to close at RM1.16. The warrants similarly was up at 58 sen, gaining 10.5 sen with a volume of  1,054,300.

So, it looks like all my predictions have come true after I have dumped my rights offer.

Jeez! What a crying shame.

Two Days Stint in Rapporteuring

Well, in the midst of the hassle to do one grant application and also to keep step with a dateline of my current white paper writing job, I have to step out of this loop to do a spate of rapporteuring at a technology colloquium at The Mines. It will be for one and a half day scribbling away and looking for facts after chucking away the gibberish spewed forth by both nonsensical pseudo speakers as well as ego-driven participants.

Fortunately for me, as the days passed by, information on the grant application proves elusive and I can see a shift of the dateline by another week. Hopefully, the inputs submitted will be good for use.

As for the white paper writing job, it is truly overwhelming what with trying to grasp the subject and to use  the synthesis in the writing.

I do hope that they will consider a dateline flexibility especially for the first milestone.

In the meantime, another project is appearing on the horizon. It is an institution review paper and will likely take me up to New Year's day 2013, if we can get the job at the price we are pitching.

Lord, when it rains it really floods .

No Crappacino?

So, now that it has gone exed all, what is really, really happening at BJFoods(BJF)?

It went down to a low of 86 sen when the rights got listed.

The warrants went down to 38.5 sen.

There was no volume as usual.

Where are all those new rights?

How is it they are again kept in the CDS accounts as the price cannot see traction?

By Jove, today, it went berserk and started climbing beyond the ringgit mark. While BJF chalked up 7 sen to RM1.05, the warrants took a jump to 47.5 sen collecting  a 6.5 sen gain.

Will there be traction?

Better be because we need the support form Starbucks to give us better dividends.
